Patent Bureau "Adamenko & Partners" was established in 1992 in Kharkiv, in Ukraine. In the same year the independent state of Ukraine was formed and the State Patent Department of Ukraine was created.

Kharkiv is one of the biggest cities of Ukraine and Europe. There are many big industrial enterprisers and scientific research centers of Ukraine. In 2002 Alexander and Olena Adamenko finished the course of education in the World-wide Organization of the Intellectual Property (WIPO WORLDWIDE ACADEMY) and got the certificates.

In 2003 - 2005 Alexander and Olena Adamenko graduated from Kharkiv National Economic University in the specialty of the valuation of the objects of the intellectual property.
